Choosing the energy source
Electric boilers have no flue and no combustion, so they are simple to install and suit sites moving away from gas or with surplus renewable power. Gas and oil fired boilers suit larger loads where fuel is cheaper per unit of heat. Solid fuel boilers suit sites with a reliable biomass supply.

Should I use an electric or a gas boiler?
Electric boilers are simple to install with no flue, and suit sites moving off gas or with surplus power. Gas and oil boilers usually cost less to run on larger loads. We compare both for your site.
What size electric boilers do you supply?
Osby Parca EL 500 Eco II boilers cover 204 to 504 kW, and ECOTHERM electric hot water boilers go up to 30 MW, with smaller Osby Parca EL models as well.
Do you supply steam boilers?
Yes. The Osby Parca GTP-Å is a 3-pass steam boiler that can be adapted for biogas and bio oil, and ECOTHERM supplies electric steam and clean steam boilers.
Can you replace the burner on my existing boiler?
Yes. Send us the boiler details and the current burner's data plate, and we will match a Nu-Way or Bentone burner to the boiler's output and fuel.
Do you service boilers?
Yes. Our technicians service boilers and the burners that fire them.
