Lanemark FDGA Gas Burner
Packaged gas burners with Air Pressure Lead (APL) gas and air modulation. Made for ovens, dryers, and spray booths where efficiency and low emissions matter most.
At a glance: The Lanemark FDGA is a packaged gas burner with Air Pressure Lead (APL) control, covering 9 kW up to 1,550 kW across seven models, from the FD5GA to the FD35GA. Fan speed control and a monoblock gas valve modulate gas and air together with no mechanical linkages, which suits ovens, dryers, and spray booths with changing airflow. Hurll Nu-Way supplies, commissions, and services Lanemark FDGA burners in Australia.
APL control with no mechanical linkages
The FDGA is based on the proven FDC, with Lanemark's Air Pressure Lead (APL) monoblock gas valve technology added.
A modulating signal drives a speed controller on the combustion air fan, which changes the windbox air pressure. The master gas valve follows that pressure, so gas flow adjusts at the same time and the gas and air ratio stays safe and efficient as plant conditions change. With no mechanical linkages between the gas valve and air damper, there is nothing to drift out of adjustment or stick.
Each FDGA is packaged with a burner windbox, combustion air fan, monoblock air and gas valve train, and control panel with fan speed controller. It mounts on the wall of a dryer, oven, or air heating duct, in line with or at 90° to the airflow. Lanemark Combustion Engineering is based in Nuneaton, England, and specialises in gas burners for process air heating and tank heating.

What heat input does the Lanemark FDGA cover?
The FDGA covers 9 to 1,550 kW across seven models, from the FD5GA (9 to 220 kW) to the FD35GA (45 to 1,550 kW).
How does APL control work?
Heat demand changes the speed of the combustion air fan, which changes the windbox air pressure. The master gas valve follows that pressure, so gas and air change together without mechanical linkages.
What is the difference between the FDGA and the FDC?
The FDC modulates gas only. The FDGA adds APL control, modulating both gas and combustion air, for better efficiency and emissions when airflow varies.
Is the FDGA suitable for spray booths?
Yes. Lanemark lists spray booths alongside paint drying and curing ovens, conveyor and batch ovens, textile dryers, rotary moulding, food processing, and powder and grain dryers.
Who supplies and services Lanemark FDGA burners in Australia?
Hurll Nu-Way, based in Glen Waverley, Victoria, supplies Lanemark FDGA burners and provides commissioning, burner servicing, and spare parts. Call 1300 556 380.
