Lanemark FDB Direct-Fired Gas Burner
Packaged direct-fired gas burners with a short, rectangular flame. Built for spray booths, drying and curing ovens, and make-up air heating where process airflow changes.
At a glance: The Lanemark FDB is a packaged direct-fired gas burner with a short, rectangular flame and heat inputs up to 1,400 kW across eleven variants, from the FDB01 to the FDB08. Air Pressure Lead (APL) control modulates both gas and combustion air, so it suits spray booths, drying and curing ovens, and make-up air systems with changing airflow. Hurll Nu-Way supplies, commissions, and services Lanemark FDB burners in Australia.
Short flame, high output, variable airflow
The FDB gives a short, rectangular flame, compared with the round flame of the FDGA. That makes it a good fit where flame length is tight, such as in a duct or an oven wall.
FDB burners can use Lanemark's Air Pressure Lead (APL) technology. A speed-controlled combustion air fan and a modulating monoblock gas valve keep the gas and air ratio right, even when the plant's airflow changes. The burner can sit inside an enclosure or duct, or mount on the wall of a dryer, oven, or air heating duct, in line with or at 90° to the airflow.
FDB systems come packaged or semi-packaged, with a burner windbox, combustion air fan, monoblock gas train (FDB01 to FDB06), and a control panel with fan speed controller. Lanemark Combustion Engineering is based in Nuneaton, England, and specialises in gas burners for process air heating and tank heating.

What heat input does the Lanemark FDB cover?
The FDB covers 9 to 1,400 kW across eleven variants. The smallest, the FDB01, runs from 9 to 175 kW, and the largest, the FDB08, from 45 to 1,400 kW.
What is the difference between the FDB and the FDGA?
Both use Lanemark's APL gas and air control. The FDB gives a short, rectangular flame, while the FDGA gives a round flame from a conical burner head.
What is APL control?
Air Pressure Lead control varies the combustion air fan speed to match heat demand. The monoblock gas valve follows the air pressure, so the gas and air ratio stays correct even when process airflow changes.
What is the Lanemark FDB used for?
Paint spray booth heating, paint drying and curing ovens, HVAC make-up air for factories, warehouses, and distribution centres, and crop dryers.
Who supplies and services Lanemark FDB burners in Australia?
