Secomak 669 Direct Drive Blower
A compact direct drive blower with no belts and no maintenance, giving up to 750 m³/h and 17 mbar on a 0.55 kW single or three phase motor at 50 Hz.
At a glance: The Secomak 669 is a direct drive blower with no belts and no bearing assembly, giving up to 750 m³/h and 17 mbar at 50 Hz from a 0.55 kW single or three phase motor. It needs no routine maintenance and suits burner combustion air, air process heaters, cooling, and drying. Hurll Nu-Way supplies and services Secomak blowers in Australia.
No belts and no routine maintenance
The Secomak 669 is a direct drive centrifugal blower: the impeller sits straight on the motor shaft, so there is no belt or bearing assembly to wear out. On an Australian 50 Hz supply it delivers up to 750 m³/h of air and up to 17 mbar from a 0.55 kW single or three phase motor. At 60 Hz it gives up to 882 m³/h and 24 mbar, as used in some export equipment.
The 669 is a 0.55 kW direct drive blower in single or three phase, also built as the 669SO stand-off version for inlet air up to 300°C. Direct drive blowers pair easily with Secomak air process heaters when hot air is needed.
Only essential components are used, which keeps the blower compact and cost effective and means there is no routine servicing. Secomak has built industrial fans and blowers in the UK since 1930, and every blower is hand built and tested before it leaves the factory.

What flow and pressure does the Secomak 669 give?
On a 50 Hz supply, up to 750 m³/h of air and up to 17 mbar of pressure. On 60 Hz, up to 882 m³/h and 24 mbar. These are the two ends of its performance curve.
Is there a separate 60 Hz model?
No. The 669/50 and 669/60 are the same blower; the figure changes with the supply frequency. Australia and New Zealand use 50 Hz, so the 50 Hz figures apply here. One Secomak datasheet covers both.
What power supply does the 669 need?
Either 230 V single phase or 415 V three phase.
Does a direct drive blower need maintenance?
No routine maintenance. With no belt and no separate bearing assembly, there is nothing to adjust. If a motor fails, our technicians can repair or replace it.
Can the 669 handle hot air?
Yes, in its stand-off version, the 669SO, which takes inlet air up to 300°C. The standard 669 takes inlet air up to 40°C.
