Secomak 428/D High Velocity Blower
A belt-driven high velocity blower giving up to 600 m³/h and 69 mbar on a 1.5 kW three phase motor. For drying, blow-off, and process air where pressure matters.
At a glance: The Secomak 428/D is a belt-driven high velocity blower that delivers up to 600 m³/h and up to 69 mbar from a 1.5 kW three phase motor. It suits air knife drying, blow-off, cooling, and process air, and needs very little maintenance thanks to its sealed bearing assembly. Hurll Nu-Way supplies and services Secomak blowers in Australia.
Steady process air from a compact blower
The Secomak 428/D is a high velocity centrifugal blower: low volume, high pressure air from a compact, belt-driven unit. It delivers up to 600 m³/h of air and up to 69 mbar of pressure from a 1.5 kW three phase motor. It gives the lowest pressure and a flatter curve than its 428 siblings.
The 428 is Secomak's compact high velocity blower, built in four versions that trade flow against pressure on 1.5 kW and 2.2 kW motors. Choose the 428/D for up to 600 m³/h and 69 mbar on a 1.5 kW motor. Within the 428 family, look at the 428/F for more pressure (up to 98 mbar) or the 428/A for more flow (up to 636 m³/h).
The fan chamber is machined from aluminium, and the drive belt and sealed bearing assembly keep maintenance to a minimum. It runs on a 50 Hz or 60 Hz supply. Secomak has built industrial fans and blowers in the UK since 1930, and every blower is hand built and tested before it leaves the factory.

What flow and pressure does the Secomak 428/D give?
Up to 600 m³/h of air and up to 69 mbar of pressure. These are the two ends of its performance curve: peak pressure at low flow, and peak flow at lower pressure. The datasheet shows the full curve.
Should I choose the 428/D or another 428 model?
Choose the 428/D for up to 600 m³/h and 69 mbar on a 1.5 kW motor. Within the 428 family, look at the 428/F for more pressure (up to 98 mbar) or the 428/A for more flow (up to 636 m³/h). Tell us the flow and pressure your process needs and we will confirm the model.
What power supply does the 428/D need?
A 415 V three phase supply (it is rated 380 to 480 V, 50 or 60 Hz), drawing 3.5 A.
How much maintenance does a belt-driven Secomak blower need?
Very little. The bearings are in a sealed assembly, so routine care is checking belt tension and wear. Our technicians can overhaul Secomak blowers when the bearings or belt need replacing.
