Nu-Way Multiplex MP Gas, Oil and Dual Fuel Burner
Industrial process burners with exceptional flame stability over a wide turndown, from low gas and air pressures. For furnaces, kilns, and process heat.
At a glance: The Nu-Way Multiplex MP is an industrial process burner for gas, light oil, or dual fuel, with nominal ratings from 60 kW (MP2) to 11,700 kW (MP400). It gives exceptional flame stability with up to 30:1 turndown on gas, from low gas and air pressures, and suits furnaces, kilns, ovens, and incinerators. Hurll Nu-Way supplies, commissions, and services Nu-Way Multiplex burners in Australia.
Stable flame across a wide turndown
The Multiplex is designed to stay highly stable over a wide turndown, from relatively low gas and air pressures. Gas and air can be controlled by a gas proportionator and air butterfly valves, or by a mechanical or electronic ratio control system for maximum turndown.
For high excess air firing, the air valve stays fully open and the gas valve alone controls output, which keeps the volume of combustion products in the furnace fairly constant across the range. The basic burner can be supplied without a tunnel and fire through a hole in the furnace wall.
It runs on all commercial gases, light oil, or dual fuel. Tunnels come in stainless steel (to 450°C), heat resistant steel (to 900°C), silicon carbide (to 1,300°C), or refractory quarls (to 1,450°C), in low, medium, or high velocity, with extended projections available. Nu-Way is based in Droitwich Spa, England, and is part of the Enertech group alongside Bentone.

What output does the Nu-Way Multiplex MP cover?
Twelve sizes with nominal ratings from 60 kW (MP2) to 11,700 kW (MP400), at 10 mbar gas and air pressure. Higher pressures allow over-firing of up to 50%.
Is the MP available for oil and dual fuel?
Yes, from the MP15 (MPO 15) upwards. The MP2 to MP10 are gas only.
What turndown does the Multiplex give?
Up to 30:1 on gas, using a mechanical or electronic ratio control system for maximum turndown.
What combustion tunnels are available?
Stainless steel to 450°C, heat resistant steel to 900°C, silicon carbide to 1,300°C, and refractory quarls to 1,450°C.
