Small diameter immersion tube tank heating
Each TX system has a burner mounted outside the tank, firing through the tank wall into an immersed tube heat exchanger. An exhaust fan on the heat exchanger outlet draws combustion air through the tubes, giving even heat distribution.
The small diameter tubes take up very little tank space, so tanks can be smaller on new plant and other heating systems are easy to replace on existing plant. Tubes can be shaped in multiple passes, or as helical coils for cylindrical tanks, to stay clear of fittings. Installing the heat exchanger needs only two flange drillings, usually in one tank wall.
Because the combustion air is induced, several burners can share one flue and exhaust fan while keeping individual control. Lanemark sizes each system with its TxCalc design software.
