Eccentric disc pumps suit delicate and expensive products and recover what other pumps leave in the line. Sliding vane pumps suit thin liquids and fuels. Which pump suits shear-sensitive liquids?
Mouvex eccentric disc pumps are low shear, seal-free, self-priming, and can run dry, so they suit delicate and high-value liquids.
Do you supply food grade pumps?
Yes. Mouvex stainless steel eccentric disc pumps carry 3A approval and are FDA approved, and JEC supplies rotary lobe and centrifugal pumps for hygienic duty.
What is a sliding vane pump good for?
Low viscosity liquids and fuels, typically 75 to 1,000 L/min. They self-adjust for wear, tolerate some vapour, and can run dry for short periods.
How do eccentric disc pumps recover product?
They self-prime and can strip the line, recovering much of the product other pump types leave behind.
