LPG Transfer Pumps and Compressors
LPG transfer needs pumps and compressors built for liquefied gas, with seals and liners that handle vapour and keep running reliably. Hurll Nu-Way supplies Blackmer liquefied gas pumps, Blackmer LB series LPG compressors, metering, and hydraulic oil coolers for bobtails, from cylinder filling to bulk plant and rail car unloading.
Equipment by job
We match the equipment to the transfer, the flow, and the site or vehicle.
LPG pumps
Sliding vane pumps listed for LP-gas and anhydrous ammonia, with cavitation suppression liners to cut noise and wear from vapour.
- Blackmer LGL sliding vane pumpsUL-listed for LPG and NH3
LPG compressors
Oil-free reciprocating compressors for unloading tankers and rail cars and recovering vapour.
- Blackmer LB series11.9 to 212 m³/h
- Vapour recovery compressorsFull guide
Bobtails and metering
LPG truck meters and compact hydraulic oil coolers that save space and cut loading times.
- Hydraflow hydraulic oil coolers25, 30, and 50 gpm
- LPG metersTruck and terminal
Built for liquefied gas
Blackmer liquefied gas pumps use cavitation suppression liners to reduce noise, vibration, and wear from entrained vapour. Their vanes self-adjust for wear and can be replaced without taking the pump out of the line.
Send us the transfer, the flow, and the site or vehicle, and we will recommend the pump, compressor, and meter.

Engineering packaging solutionsLPG transfer FAQs
Which pump suits LPG transfer?
Blackmer liquefied gas sliding vane pumps, listed for LP-gas and anhydrous ammonia service, with cavitation suppression liners.
When do I use a compressor instead of a pump?
Compressors are used to unload tankers and rail cars by pressurising the vapour space, and to recover vapour. Blackmer LB series compressors cover 11.9 to 212 m³/h.
What is a hydraulic oil cooler for?
It cools the hydraulic oil that drives the pump on an LPG bobtail, combining oil tank, cooler, and relief valve in one compact unit.
Can vanes be replaced without removing the pump?
Yes. On Blackmer LPG pumps the vanes can be replaced without taking the pump out of the piping.
Can you service our LPG pumps and compressors?
Yes. We service and repair the equipment we supply.
