Drying
In drying process, water or another solvent is removed from the solid by evaporation technique. This process is one of the most common across the industries. Drying is used in agricultural industry to dry crops before processing, in food industries to dry powders, salt manufacturing industry to dry salt and so on. In the most common case, a gas stream, e.g., air, applies the heat by convection and carries away the vapor as humidity.
